i was just browsing the photo gallery, and saw a picture of a map from 2005, stating the the attraction was not listed, and the Toon Lagoon logo was placed over it. Was just wondering why USF did this, did it close temporarily ore something?! i really cant remember!  ???

Universal Evolution:
Must have closed it for a few weeks for regular maintenance to the entire ride.  The map was from October in the off season so that's probably why, just my guess :)

I heard they were going to put in lap restraints and also redone the water fall drop on it.

Back then in 2005 it must have been regular maintainance why it was closed.
All the rides get closed down once every year for seasonal touch ups and check ups.
Rides have to go through the same proceedure as we do, they have to see the doctor every once in a while...in this case it's the inspector and mechanic :)

I remember seeing the Splash Mountain atttraction in the Magic Kingdom having its Annual Maintenance, there were people up there dressed like Huckleberry Finn painting and using hand tools etc.

Huckleberry Finn! Part of the disney look i assume lol
