Simpsons Ride trend for the Summer
« on: May 26, 2008, 03:27:49 PM »
Well this weekend was/is Memorial Day weekend here in the U.S. of A.
Memorial day weekend in the past has set the trend for the summer here at Universal Orlando.
The wait times for the Simpsons Ride never went below 90 minutes the entire afternoon and hiked all the way up to 150 minutes.

My suggestion to those visiting the park during the summer is to get in early. If you get in at the time the park opens, you have the best chance to get on the ride quick and without much pain of waiting in line. Wait times at most parks are usually the shortest right at the start of the day, so remember go in early to what you do want to ride quick.

Those that are staying in one of the On-Site hotels, you are in luck. With your room keys, you get express all day at both theme parks. The room key can be enjoyed as an express pass at the attractions that have an "Express" line.

150 minute wait time, wow... all for a 4 minute ride, lol.  But it's not that long compared to the time I waited 9 hours in line for a U2 concert, lol.  I think I'll only visit Orlando during the off season.

Very true, lol.  Im sure it'll be around for many more years.  Crazy to think BTTF was there for 16 years!

JAWS and ET are the last original rides left, scary.  If/When JAWS does go, that leaves a lot of room for a big attraction.  Can't really think of a killer ride that could go there right now  :-\  Something more adult oriented, indoor and scary!

With wait times, we always get there as soon as they open, and work from the back of the park forward, like do jaws, mib and ET first, then mummy etc
This is my signature

what could you bind with the current water theme though? is there any great universal picture out there right now that involves a lot of water... ie a lake, river, or  ocean?

Ok, so today was a slow day at Universal and the wait time was still 50 minutes.
If it is your first time to go on it, go for it, if it's the second, don't bother.
Rather than bothering go and ride single rides MIB 4 times during that same time or ride the Mummy four times in single riders as well in that same time.
