Lap Restraints on Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls

(1/1)

DocBrownB2TF:
Ok, so I rode Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls a few weeks back and they had put in lap restraints sometime in the last months.

I do have to say, I liked the ride better before and think they should have put in belts instead of the bars they put in. With the bars in there it is very, very difficult to get in and out for the average adult. The only ones that don't have a problem getting in and out would be the kids.

I was actually thinking that next time I go on the ride, I'm going to protest those bars by making it seem like I can't get out of the ride, which for a brief moment last time thought I wouldn't be able to do.

Has anyone else been on it since they installed those lap restraints?

Klingon911:
Un4tunately not. I have actually never been on this attraction, i hate getting wet :P

Universal Evolution:
Wow, this is what, the 2nd or 3rd time they've updated the restraints?

Last time I rode it was August 07.

I remember riding ripsaw falls in 1999 with no restraints whatsoever, just hold onto those small hand rails.  Going down that drop almost felt like you were gonna fly out of the log, lol.

DocBrownB2TF:
i liked just holding on better...
it was just a much better open experience then

Universal Evolution:
I wonder why Universal decided to change the restraints again...
